History

David was never the favorite out of him and his sister. With being only three years younger than her, it was hard. His father, a wealthy man, known for their gardens and fields of lush foliage, was his hero. He always looked up to his father for guidance, enjoying the chats of manhood as they plowed the fields with the horses. Nothing cold go wrong until one day the farm started to slide down hill. Both of his parents fought endlessly, well into the middle of the night. Bickering about where the money would come from, and one night he over heard his parents. "Why don't we sell the farm and just keep the house?" His father said, not so much in question but in hopes that his wife would listen. "If we sell the farm, we should sell the house. Plain and simple! Don't you ever listen to me!" She screamed at him and the worst of things happened. David's father, open hand, slapped his mother across her face. He could hear the crack of a hand hitting flesh and then the crashing of a table or perhaps it was the glass vases his mother had owned for flowers and such. The silent weeps filled his mind as he rushed down the stairs, still only a boy and lunged at his father. Tears streaked David's face as he reached up and began hitting his father, to just be shoved off and thrown down with a fist in his face. Lights went out.

Waking in his bed, he soon realized what day it was. It was his birthday! Now he was a man, in hopes of his father's eyes anyways. He already did everything he was told to do because his sister never did anything anyways. Just bitched at David and continued on with her merry way. He hated his sister. Hated her so much. Just wished she would go away. And that was the day he realized that his father would no longer stay the hero. He would become the villain.
